Under Joe Biden's vice presidency, there were just under 61 million Americans infected with H1N1 Swine Flu and over 12,000 deaths.

A report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms that there were 60.8 million H1N1 Influenza Cases in 2009 in the United States.

The CDC has acknowledged the estimation made published by the Oxford University Press that between 12 April 2009 to 2010 approximately 60.8 million American were infected, 274,304 hospitalized and 12,469 died in the United States. Joe Biden was the Vice-President of the United States during the two consecutive terms of the Obama presidency from 2009.
