Himachal Pradesh Congress MP silenced PM Modi during her speech at the Parliament.

The Himachal Pradesh Congress MP, Viplove Thakur, slammed the Modi government in the Rajya Sabha while Modi was not present at that session.

Viplove Thakur in the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address in Rajya Sabha speech slammed the BJP government. The statement of this old lady was viral on social media with some misleading claims that she silenced Modi in the Parliament. Viplove Thakur was pointing to the Modi government in her talk and not Modi. The clips of Viplove Thakur's speech in Rajya Sabha and Modi standing were shown in the viral video, and it is being claimed that Viplove Thakur made Modi silent with her address.

An analysis of the viral footage revealed that the first image shown is of Modi in Lok Sabha, and the speech by Thakur was in Rajya Sabha. Narendra Modi was not present when she gave the address. The first seat on the right side of the Chair is reserved for the Leader of the House. While the second seat for the prime minister, which was vacant while she was giving the speech. She was speaking against the Modi government and questioned the functioning of the government.
