None of the polls predicted a 47 percent vote share for Donald Trump in 2020.

Some polls predicted that Trump would gain 47 percent of the vote share in the 2020 presidential election.

Research from SurveyMonkey predicted that President Donald Trump's vote share would be 46 percent, and in the six swing states: Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, the polling average showed 47 percent of voters would choose Trump. Rasmussen Reports’ final White House Watch survey also showed Biden edging the president 48 percent to 47 percent. It has been suggested that Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic hampered his chances of winning in the battleground states.
