Chinese diplomats burnt documents after Trump ordered the closure of Houston consulate.

The orders to shut down the consulate prompted diplomats to reportedly burn documents in a courtyard of the consulate.

A fire broke out in a courtyard at the Chinese Consulate in Houston after diplomats were reportedly burning documents. Neighbors called 911 around 8:20 p.m. and told officials that they saw someone burning documents in the courtyard. The Houston Fire Department rushed to the spot and responded to a fire. Further, HFD Fire crews were denied access by building occupants.
