COVID-19 has been completely eliminated in the United States.

The COVID-19 daily update by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that tens of thousands of new confirmed cases were found in the U.S.

The COVID-19 cases have been increasing day by day since the pandemic started. The United States has reported more than 6,700,000 confirmed cases, with more than 198,000 deaths. On September 21, 2020, about 36,000 new cases were recorded within a 24-hour-period. Since the pandemic started, there are no recommended vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. Also, many ongoing clinical trials are evaluating potential treatment.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
