Don't pick up calls from numbers starting with +91140.

Maharashtra Cyber Police clarified that phone numbers starting with +140 are from telemarketing companies.

A video has gone viral on social media claiming that if anyone receives a phone call from an unknown number starting with 140, all money in the account will be withdrawn, and the account would be void. On July 11, 2020, Maharashtra Cyber Police clarified that the message circulated on social media is baseless, and it is false. They further stated that as long as we do not share bank account details, our bank balance is safe. The numbers starting with +140 are telemarketing calls.
