The Telangana government is considering to reopen schools and colleges.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao stated a final decision for reopening schools in Telangana would soon be taken.

Telangana Chief Minister held a meeting with officials at Pragati Bhavan on the issues concerning the education sector due to the COVID-19. The chief minister said the academic year of the engineering course would start from August 17, 2020. The government will soon decide on when to reopen in the state and how teaching should occur after examining the center's guidelines and methods adopted by other states. He added that a long-term strategy would be prepared and executed to strengthen the government educational institutions in the state.
