A statement by South Delhi District Magistrate confirms that 72 people and their families were quarantined after a pizza delivery man tests positive.
District Magistrate B M Mishra gave an exclusive interview to the ABP News, where he stated that after a pizza delivery employee tested positive for COVID-19, the Delhi administration traced the houses he had delivered to in the past 15 days. 72 people and their families have been asked to remain quarantined at home. He also added that his roommate was also tested and reports are awaited. The 17 first-line contacts of the infected man, including his colleagues, have been put under quarantine at an institutional facility. Similarly, PTI news also reported that after pizza delivery boy tests positive for COVID-19 a total of 72 families whom he delivered pizza have been put under home quarantine in Delhi.
