Bollywood actor Anupam Kher’s family tests positive for COVID-19.

Anupam Kher in a tweet announced that his mother, brother, sister-in-law, and niece tested positive for COVID-19 on July 12, 2020.

Anupam Kher and his nephew Pranit have tested negative for COVID-19. Kher's mother, Dulari, has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai while Anupam's brother Raju Kher and his family have quarantined in their home.

Kher said that his mother wasn't feeling hungry for quite some time, and when he took her for a test, the results came out positive(mildly). Following that, Raju and Anupam Kher got themselves tested, in which the former has been found positive with mild symptoms, while the reports of the latter came out negative. Unfortunately, Raju Kher's wife Rima and niece Vrinda also tested positive. Kher said the BMC had been informed and that it appreciated their timely action. Mr. Kher also thanked the Kokilaben hospital for admitting his mother without any hassles.

Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter and expressed their concern and prayed for the family's speedy recovery.
