The claim that drone wiz Prathap was inducted into the DRDO by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is false and baseless.

A viral message on social media claims that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has admitted Prathap NM from Karnataka, builds drones from e-waste into the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). However, Prathap denied that the prime minister offered him a job as a DRDO scientist. He does not have a Master's degree yet, which is a minimum requirement to obtain an entry-level position as a scientist at the DRDO. Moreover, the Prime Minister cannot appoint anyone officially. The Indian government's Recruitment and Assessment Center states that to be recruited into the organization as a scientist at the entry-level, one must have a First Class Master's degree in Science Subjects, Mathematics, or Psychology, or First Class Degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy, from a recognized University or Equivalent.
