Cindy McCain and Colin Powell endorsed Joe Biden.

While Colin Powell endorsed Joe Biden for president, Cindy McCain praised Biden without explicitly endorsing him.

During Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention on August 18, 2020, Cindy McCain, wife of the late Sen. John McCain, spoke about her deceased husband's 'unlikely friendship' with Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The video, first reported by the Associated Press, also had photos and video clips of the two men. A snippet of the video on YouTube does not contain Biden's explicit endorsement over Republican President Donald Trump. Politico reported that it's unclear whether McCain's appearance equates to an official endorsement of Joe Biden.

Gen. Colin Powell, a Republican who served as Secretary of State to President George W. Bush, endorsed former vice president, Joe Biden. He stated in a video message, 'Joe Biden will be a president we will all be proud to salute. With Joe Biden in the White House, you will never doubt that he will stand with our friends and stand up to our adversaries — never the other way around.'
