PUBG mobile India to be launched soon.

The government has not provided the necessary permission to relaunch the app in India.

The Indian government had banned PUBG and 117 other Chinese apps, citing security reasons. Meanwhile, PUBG Corporation announced on Nov 12 that it would soon launch a new game in India. It said the new game will be called PUBG Mobile India and will be designed keeping in mind the Indian audience. The company also assured that it would maintain the privacy and security of players. Since then, many fake apk download links have surfaced online, and it is speculated that the new game will be launched on Dec 25. However, PUBG Corp has not confirmed the same as it is struggling to get the right permits. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has officially clarified in an RTI response that the Centre has not granted permission to relaunch PUBG Mobile in India. According to sources privy to the details, it may not be launched anytime soon in India.
