Donald Trump’s re-election campaign committee has raised more money at this point in the cycle than any incumbent president in history.

Donald Trump's re-election campaign has raised around $342 million through July, second to Obama's $358 million in 2012 re-election funding.

Donald trump's re-election campaign committee has raised approximately $342,808,367 through July 2020. This is not the largest sum raised at this point in the cycle by a sitting president since former President Barack Obama's campaign had raised $358 million at this point for his 2012 re-election campaign.

However, when comparing fundraising efforts by both party committees and incumbent presidents, Trump and the Republican National Committee have consistently surpassed the fundraising figures posted by Obama and the Democratic National Committee. According to Ballotpedia, as of June in Year 4, Trump and the RNC have raised a combined $985 million. Whereas, Obama and the DNC had raised a combined inflation-adjusted $781 million. Obama and the DNC did not reach $985 million in combined inflation-adjusted fundraising until September 2012.

President Donald Trump announced his re-election campaign the day he took office and since then has garnered attracted both large and small donors.
