The minor 18-meter bridge that approaches the road is two kilometers away from the main Sattarghat bridge and has collapsed due to the massive water inflow in the Gandak river. The 1,440-meter-long Sattarghat bridge, which was inaugurated by Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, on June 16 through video conferencing, is intact and has not been damaged.
