Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had tested positive for coronavirus on July 25, 2020. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bhopal where he underwent treatment for 11 days. He was discharged from the hospital on August 5, 2020 after he tested negative and after doctors ascertained that he did not have any symptoms and his clinical parameters were within normal limits. He has been advised to stay in home-quarantine and monitor his health for a week.
