The flu kills 14 times more people than COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic has a much higher mortality rate than influenza.

Almost 1 billion people suffer from the flu every year worldwide, and 290,000 to 650,000 of these people die from flu-related causes every year.

From January 2020 to November 2020, 1,465,919 death cases have been reported worldwide due to COVID-19. The mortality rate of COVID-19 is substantially higher (possibly ten times or more) than that of most strains of the flu, according to Johns Hopkins University. Many news outlets have confirmed this.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19, including symptoms, prevention, and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organization or your national healthcare authority.
