A viral message is circulating on social media that Adidas is giving away 3100 free pairs of shoes and T-shirts to celebrate its 96th anniversary is fake.

Upon verifying, we found that this message almost appears every year. Adidas, in a statement to The Sun in 2018 clarified that it is a fake message and asked customers to be aware of these types of offers and also cautioned against sharing personal details.

Hence, the advert is false, and those who click on the message link might expose themselves to identity theft or fraud.
