The Election Commission of India(ECI) confirms that those serving for the government of India outside the county are enrolled as service voters.

The report published by ECI gives information regarding service voters. According to the report, those serving in the Armed Forces of the Union, as a member of an Armed Police Force of a State and outside that state, and government officials serving abroad are registered as Service Voters.
