The soldiers of the Bihar regiment crossed the LAC to avenge their dead Colonel.

The Indian army released a video saluting the Bihar regiment, however no reports suggest that they crossed the border to avenge a Colonel.

The Commanding Officer of the 16 Bihar regiment was among the 20 soldiers of the Indian Army who were killed in a violent face-off with China at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh on June 15. In response, the Indian Army tweeted a powerful video saluting the strength and courage of Bihar Regiment soldiers. In the video, the Army also remembered the regiment's contribution in the Kargil War that took place in 1999.

Since the June 15 face-off, multiple rounds of talks have taken place between the Indian and Chinese officials to deescalate the situation and reach at a positive consensus. However no reports have emerged about the Bihar regiment crossing into the Line of Actual Control to avenge the Colonel of the 16 Bihar regiment who died in the face-off.
