A large weapons cache has been seized from a RSS hideout in Delhi.

Old and unrelated images are being circulated as weapons seized from RSS hideout in Delhi.

Multiple images are widely shared on social media, claiming that a large cache of weapons was seized during an extensive police raid on an RSS hideout in Delhi. The viral post includes three different pictures featuring large sums of arms and ammunition. All these images are found on the internet and actually taken from different websites.

The first image is taken at the ‘Khalsa Kirpan’ sword factory in Patiala city, Punjab. The same image is also seen on the Facebook page of 'Khalsa Kirpan' that dates back to 2017.

In the second image, many swords are kept on a table in front of the police. We found this image was related to an incident in which the Rajkot police had seized 257 lethal weapons, including swords and knives, in a raid during 2016.

The third image showed different types of guns arranged on a table which was actually taken from the Canada-based e-commerce website ‘CanSellAll.’

Therefore, it is clear that some old and unrelated images are circulated to peddle fake news.
