Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced lockdown in Delhi from March 23, 2020, but all over India, it was declared on March 24, 2020. Delhi police had earlier requested anti-CAA protestors at Shaheen Bagh, especially women, to call off their agitation amid highly contagious COVID-19 spreading in the country and nationwide lockdown.
