The Haryana government has decided to cap the limit of people in indoor and outdoor gatherings across the state to contain the spread of the COVID-19.

The Haryana government has decided to cap the limit of people in indoor and outdoor gatherings across the state to contain the spread of the COVID-19.Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced on November 24 to limit the number of people allowed at social gatherings like marriages, religious or political functions to contain the recent surge in COVID-19 cases. Especially in the six National Capital Region (NCR) districts of Gurugram, Faridabad, Rewari, Rohtak, Hisar, and Sonipat, the government has decided to limit the number of gatherings to a maximum of 50 for events held indoor and 100 for outdoor ones.

In the rest of the districts, the gatherings have been limited to 100 people for indoor functions and 200 outdoors. This order will be effective from November 26, 2020.
