She had recently attended the Gulmarg winter festival organized by the Indian army in February 2021. Times of India reported that she was honored by the Indian army by naming a firing range for her phenomenal contribution to Indian cinema. The Vidya Balan firing range is said to be located in the ski resort of Gulmarg, Kashmir.

However, the actor has not commented anything about the news yet, nor the Indian army has issued any clarification in this regard. Hence we mark the claim as unverifiable.
