A report from The Herald Nigeria states that superstitions lead to the killing of tigers in India.It is known that tribals are killing Tigers for superstitious reasons. The police arrested many people related to the killing. On interrogation, they revealed that they offer body parts of Tiger to their deities to remove any evil eye, improve health and bring prosperity. The Wildlife Department says such practices have been blamed for the killing of 11 tigers. It is in line with the report published by The Hindu and Xinhuanet news website.
