Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah discussed the lockdown extension plans in the situation of COVID-19 cases are increasing in the country.The Union Home Minister Amit Shah met Prime Minister(PM) Modi to discuss the views of all the chief ministers on the extension of lockdown after May 31. In the meeting held on 29 May 2020, Shah discussed the feedback and suggestions of all chief ministers with the PM. The Home Minister had a telephonic conversation with all the state chief ministers over the lockdown extension on 28 May. The central government might announce the decision on the lockdown extension within the next two days.
