Twitter accounts of many pro-BJP persons have reappeared bypassing Twitter's policies.

Policies of Twitter say that the user of a suspended account cannot create another, but whether Twitter failed to do so cannot be verified.

Policies of Twitter say that the user of a suspended account cannot create another, but whether Twitter failed to do so cannot be verified. As per the rules and policies of Twitter, there are two categories of suspending an account, one is temporary, and another is the permanent suspension. The temporarily suspended account user would be able to reactivate the account or create a new account. The accounts with threatening or abusive content would be permanently globally suspended by Twitter. The user whose account was permanently removed by Twitter would not be able to create a new account.

According to social media posts and articles, Twitter has failed to ensure its rules and regulations over suspended accounts. An article by The Wire stated that the Twitter accounts of many Bharatiya Janata Party members that were suspended before have now reappeared on the platform. It mentioned that a suspended Twitter account with the username 'TheTrueIndology' had reappeared on the platform recently. Several BJP leaders have posted the return of the 'TheTrueIndology' account and asked others to follow the account.

We cannot verify whether the suspended accounts' return was a failure of Twitter policies due to a lack of credible evidence.
