Media statement on the current situation of the COVID-19 in Brunei Darussalam confirms the request from the government.The Ministry of Health while updating the cases of the COVID-19 in Brunei Darussalam requested the employers from private sectors to facilitate the COVID-19 regulatory measures. The Ministry requested employers not to deduct the number of eligible annual leaves from employees account or force them to get medical leave from the doctor if any employee was undergoing self-isolation or quarantine period.

Further, the Ministry said, it needs the support from the employers, mainly Government to curb the COVID-19 outbreak in the nation.
