Burger King officially announced in a tweet that it has launched a new Vegan Royale Burger.On April 26, UK's Burger King announced a new burger, 'Vegan Royale,' which has earned a certification from the Vegan Society for 100% plant-based menu. The company has lined up to drop the meat versions products and go with plant-based products. Additionally, it has also launched a Plant-Based Whopper that appears on menus on the Burger King website.

Burger King also revealed that it would introduce 'Meat Free Mondays' nationwide for all app-users, meaning that customers with the Burger King UK app can purchase the new meat-free burgers for £1.99 every Monday.

According to Vegan Food & Living, Burger King had earlier announced its plan to make 50 percent of its menu plant-based by 2031.
