The Department of Telecommunication has extended the norms of work from home till December 2020 in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases in India.On July 21, the Indian government has relaxed work from home norms for Information Technology(IT), Information Technology enabled services companies till December 2020, that would have expired on July 31, 2020. The decision was announced through a tweet from the official handle of the Department of Telecommunications. The relaxation in the terms and conditions was initially begun in the wake of the pandemic this year. Extension of the connectivity norms for work from home is due to the threat posed by the growing cases of the COVID-19.
