Google's book library and World Health Organization prove that the book was published 12 years ago and the Virus outbreak was not predicted before.
Upon doing research, we found that since the outbreak of SARS in 2002 and 2003, doctors and scientists have warned that new strains of the coronavirus family would threaten to emerge in the future. A news release by the World Health Organization on 5 July 2003 stated that coronavirus, a large family of viruses, could be a seasonal disease which may still be in the environment and could ignite a new outbreak. Some experts cautioned that these viruses might even lay low for several years before reappearing. Also, the WHO website stated that the coronavirus outbreak was first reported from Wuhan, China, on 31 December 2019.
Thus we can conclude that the claim is false as Sylvia Browne's book was published in 2008, and her prediction about the outbreak of the virus has been refuted by the doctors and scientists.
The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
