Google has limited the free storage space for photos and drive to 15GB from June 2021.

Google has limited the free storage space for photos and drive to 15GB from June 2021.On November 11, 2020, Google updated its account storage policies, which would come into effect from June 1, 2021. According to the new policy, Google Photos and Drive would not provide unlimited backup storage to the users. The company has limited a 15 GB storage space to every Google account, and the data that the user uploads from June 1, would count toward the free storage of that particular user account. From June 21, Google would start charging for its services. However, the company has clarified that the photos and videos uploaded before June 21 would be considered free.
