Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had written an essay in 2014, where he said women should be protected and not left independent.Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, had started his political journey by saying 'Sab ka Saath, sab ka Vikas.' But recently, one of his articles resurfaces on his Government's equality towards women.

In 2014, Adityanath had written an essay on the role of women in Indian culture on his website, named 'Matrushakti Bharatiya Sanskriti Ke Sandharbh Mein.' He believes women need male protection from birth to death, and their energy or power should be regulated or controlled. He also wrote that a home gets destroyed when women become as effective as men.

Adityanath made a case in this essay by stating that women require protection and should not be allowed independence, which may lead to wastefulness or destruction of women. He claims it affects the importance of women in a family and the upbringing of a child.

These statements are raised over social media again and questioned about being a chief minister. As a result, it has caused a lot of hatred, and people asked for an apology.
