Sri Lanka has sent gold bricks to build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The Sant Mannargudi Jiyarswami from Tamil Nadu, and not Sri Lanka, donated a gold and silver brick each to construct Ram temple in Ayodhya.

The Sant Mannargudi Jiyarswami from Tamil Nadu, and not Sri Lanka, donated a gold and silver brick each to construct Ram temple in Ayodhya.On August 4, 2020, the gold and silver bricks engraved with 'Shri Ram' in Tamil were donated to Ram Janmabhoomi Threetha Kshetra Trust for constructing Ram temple by sadhus from Tamil Nadu. Mannargudi Jiyarswami said that they bought the bricks with the monetary donations from the Tamil Nadu people.
