According to U.S. treason law, a person can be arrested only if they wage war against the country or help their enemies, by providing them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere.

As per the law, Adam Schiff cannot be arrested as he was referring to the sources used by a whistleblower’s complaint filed against Donald Trump.

CNBC reported that neither the White House nor a spokesman for Adam Schiff responded to the comments made by President Donald Trump.
