The military is going to take over the U.S.

The buzz about the military taking over the U.S. is part of a conspiracy theory that claims elites are taking over by creating a false pandemic.

The buzz about the military taking over the U.S. is part of a conspiracy theory that claims elites are taking over by creating a false pandemic. Many on social media have been sharing posts that make claims related to the QAnon conspiracy theory. It is claimed that Martial Law and the Insurrection Act will be invoked, and there will be mass arrests. However, such claims have been debunked by Logically before.

We recently came across an article where retired generals of the U.S. military warned that the country is heading towards civil unrest and the situation might worsen. They said that there is a potential for lethal chaos inside the military as Trump’s questioning of the election has led to a crisis in the country. The army generals wrote that the deep divide among the politicians and the pandemic had created conditions that make civil war likely.

It seems that the claim is an exaggerated interpretation of the news article and connected to the QAnon conspiracy. Hence we mark it as false.
