Minneapolis city Mayor Jacob Frey has ordered the compulsory use of cloth face masks or coverings in all public places to fight against COVID-19.Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey signed Emergency Regulation on 16 May 2020, that required all citizens to wear face masks inside public settings. According to the order, use of cloth masks or face coverings would be compulsory when people are in indoor gathering places such as grocery stores, recreation centres, hotels, retail businesses, the skyway system, and government buildings.
The emergency regulation would be in effect from 26 May 2020(Tuesday).
