ANI accepted in its tweet that it misreported Tamil Nadu's Health Secretary saying 'single source contact' when she actually did not say it.Dr Beela Rajesh during a press briefing on 12 April stated that out of 106 new positive cases of coronavirus,16 had travel history and 90 were their contacts.

ANI in a tweet had quoted her saying that out of 106 positive cases, 90 people were from single-source contact. Later it issued a correction by saying that its reporter incorrectly quoted Tamil Nadu Health Secretary and clarified that she did not mention that 90 people were from 'single source contact'. It said the error was regretted.
