A Tweet by ANI and the news published by the Deccan Herald confirm that 100 teams have been formed for coronavirus contact tracing in Karnataka.According to news reported by ANI and Deccan Herald, as many as 100 Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) teams have been formed for contact tracing in Bengaluru amid COVID-19. It also added that the tracing team consists of one doctor with community medicine or public health background, one staff nurse and one Medico-social worker for contact tracing in BBMP areas and counselling is being done for all those who are not volunteering for hospital isolation and home quarantine.
