There is insufficient evidence to verify whether Pamela Goswami, who was arrested for allegedly carrying cocaine, met the governor of West Bengal.On February 19, 2021, Pamela Goswami, Bharatiya Janta Party Yuva Morcha leader, was arrested in Bengal for allegedly carrying 100 grams of cocaine. Sources say that Goswami would often stop at a particular spot. The police, who suspected that she had cocaine in her car, watched her movements. Subsequently, after checking her vehicle, the officers found narcotics in her bag and car seat.

On February 21, 2021, the Kolkata Police searched a parlor at a mall in Rajarhat connected to Pamela's drug seizure case investigation. Pamela, who was present along with the police, claimed that it was a conspiracy against her.

An anonymous Bengal BJP leader said that Pamela was a new candidate and held a junior profile as a youth leader. He mentioned that she had no significant interaction with senior party leaders.

Pamela has not said that she met the West Bengal Governor, Jagdeep Dhankhar. After being arrested in the drug case, and there are no such reports on the mainstream media. This claim is therefore unverifiable at the current time.
