Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced that Ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was taken into custody.Following the death of George Floyd on 25 May 2020, former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin was taken to custody by the agents of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
