
The India and Chinese military engaged in a violent face-off in Galwan valley. The situation is currently under control amid heightened tensions.
Following the incident, India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar had a telephonic conversation with the Chinese counterpart. During the conversation, they agreed to handle the situation responsibly, and both sides would implement the withdrawal of troops. Ever since both sides have been reinforcing their borders with more military personnel and heavy equipment. No shots have been fired by both sides and the situation is under control amid heightened tensions.
