The effectiveness of Arsenic Album drug on COVID-19 patients is not proven scientifically.

The effectiveness of Arsenic Album drug on COVID-19 patients is not proven scientifically. The Ayush Ministry has recommended Arsenicum album 30 as a preventive medication, and the advisory states that taking the drug will promote immunity and help in respiratory symptoms. It has based its recommendation on the existing use of medicine for respiratory illness and Influenza.

However, the World Health Organisation has not released any guidelines on using the Arsenicum album as a COVID-19 treatment. The FDA has warned about the product being unsafe and ineffective for treating a patient of COVID-19.

Further, there has been no clinical trial or large-scale study undertaken to scientifically validate the use of Arsenicum album 30 as preventive medicine for COVID-19. Moreover, the efficacy and adverse effects of the drug on COVID-19 patients are not published as well. Hence the use of Arsenic Album in treating Coronavirus cannot be established.
