The Government had assessed that on 29 May 2020, the estimates of the infectious people will be around 10,000 and 25,000 in Scotland.

Scotland has been in lockdown since 23 March and did not make major changes to restrictions when they introduced in England earlier in May. The ministers of Scotland also believed that COVID-19 is spreading much more slowly than a few weeks ago. The statistics from Public Health Scotland(PHS) shows that the number of new infections has been steadily declined since from mid of April.
