An official letter by Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) disproves the statement.According to a letter released by MTNL dated 5th July explains that it has not got any such plans about the Indian government considering a bailout package of Rs 74,000 crores for reviving BSNL and MTNL. It also mentioned that the stock exchange will be notified if the Indian Government makes such a proposal.
