Baba Ramdev had said that if one can hold the breath for a minute then it meant they don't have the coronavirus.

Advisory by the World Health Organization and a tweet by PIB refutes the claim that holding the breath can detect COVID-19.The World Health Organization has outlined that holding the breath would not help in detecting whether a person is infected with any respiratory illness which affects the lungs and suggested that best way to confirm the virus causing corona is with a laboratory test. PIB had also dismissed the claim as misinformation. Moreover, there is no scientific evidence to support the claim made by Baba Ramdev on coronavirus.

The COVID-19 pandemic has given rise to a lot of potentially dangerous misinformation. For reliable advice on COVID-19 including symptoms, prevention and available treatment, please refer to the World Health Organisation or your national healthcare authority.
