The Chinese government has started shooting people infected by the novel coronavirus.

Fact-checks by Latestly and Boomlive confirms that the viral video claiming that China had started shooting coronavirus infected people is false.

Fact-checks by Latestly and Boomlive confirms that the viral video claiming that China had started shooting coronavirus infected people is false.A video has been circulated online (YouTube, for instance) with the caption that China had started shooting people who were infected by the 2019 novel coronavirus to control it from spreading further.

As per the fact-checks published by Latestly and Boomlive on 13 and 14 February 2020 respectively, the viral video is made up of merging several videos. The clubbed video includes three separate clips; one showing armed police personnel, the other showing medical professionals tending to several people, and another clip showing someone tending to a person who had been in a road accident that occurred in the city of Wuzu.

Hence it is proved that China has not started shooting coronavirus infected people.
