A car caught fire at Rohini flyover in Delhi but the cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Delhi police.Ram Kishan, a resident of Kerala, was burnt to death in Delhi on May 22, 2020, after his car caught fire at a flyover in the Mangolpuri area near Kali Mata Mandir in Outer Ring road. The police officer stated the driver was found on the seat in a burnt condition and was declared dead. A case has been registered and the investigation is underway to know the exact reason for the blast as the vehicle had some plastic material and Compressed natural gas (CNG) kit.
However, the car blast occurring due to sanitizer at Rohini flyover is being falsely circulated on social media as no reports are saying that the cause of the blast was due to the sanitizer. While it's true that most hand sanitizers have a flashpoint around room temperature, that doesn't mean the liquid will all of a sudden catch fire if it reaches that temperature.
