Australian Health Department states that sodium chlorite is harmful if consumed by humans and the products should be labelled with word poison in red.Miracle Mineral Supplement(MMS) marketed as water purification drops contains 28% sodium chlorite, a chemical used as a textile bleaching agent and disinfectant. If a product containing sodium chlorite is consumed by humans it causes a severe health risk, so as a warning to the consumers the word poison should be labelled on the products.
