In a recent incident, the Indian Army accused that Chinese troops tried to transgress into their side of LAC on the southern bank of Pangong Tso lake with provocative military movement. The official said the Army thwarted the PLA's attempt on 29 August night and 30 August.

The next day, a Chinese military spokesperson said that the Indian Army had illegally crossed the LAC at Pangong Tso lake and Reqin mountain. The Western Theater Command spokesperson Senior Colonel Zhang Shuili noted that India has broken their promise and intruded into the China-controlled Galwan valley by attacking their soldiers.
