An elephant seal took a wrong turn and found itself in the town of Puerto Cisne, Chile, on the night of October 5.On October 6, 2020, a massive elephant seal was spotted roaming a residential neighborhood in Puerto Cisne, Chile, which led to confusion among residents as the animal is rarely known to cross paths with humans. A group of neighbors carried out an operation to help the disoriented animal return to the water, which they finally achieved with Carabineros and Navy personnel's help. A resident from Puerto Cisne had also posted a video clip of an elephant seal. Southern elephant seals, which are found in sub-Antarctic and Antarctic waters, are the largest seal family members.
